When reporting an issue try to determine ahead of time, if the road issue is on a state, county or town road and call the appropriate location to recieve action on your request.

Examples of issues to call about: pot holes, ice conditions, dead animals(road kill), debre in road, missing or damaged road signs

For some issues, a written letter is a good idea to follow up with after the phone call.
